Magan Carrigan is a New York based writer, producer and actress. She has interned in marketing at Regional Tony Award winning theatres Arena Stage and The Shakespeare Theatre Company in Washington, DC. In 2015, Magan and her team raised $15,000 on Indiegogo to fund the first 3 episodes of Solid 8: The Webseries. Solid 8 premiered on YouTube in 2016, resulting in 125 subscribers and over 4,600 views so far. Magan has studied Improv at Upright Citizens Brigade and completed the Film/TV I acting class with Lorrel Manning at the Barrow Group. She has also studied at Amy Gossels Casting and with acting coach Ken Schatz. She received her Masters of Fine Arts in Acting at the Actors Studio Drama School and has completed the Summer Intensive Acting Workshop at Circle in the Square Theatre School in New York City.
