Solid 8 follows Nicki (Carrigan), a young actress trying to find her way in NYC theatre and film, who constantly runs into professional and personal obstacles- often of her own creation. Dealing with career fumbles, personal and familial tensions, and a near-constant fear of failure lead her to the most important question every young artist must ask: Is it worth it to even keep trying?

Anyone who lives or loves the creative life will relate/laugh/cry with this funny, honest and sometimes heart-wrenching portrayal of one actress’s struggle in the big city.

Solid 8 was created by Magan Carrigan & Taylor Williams, executive produced by Carrigan & Williams, Danny Gorman, and Emily Marquet.
